Your Role

As a systems and software engineer at Saab, you will work in a competent team and help develop advanced defense systems for combat aircraft. You will have the opportunity to participate in the entire development chain, from requirements formulation together with customers and pilots to the design and implementation of subsystems that contribute to the aircraft's tactical capabilities.

Your work will be in close collaboration with other teams and in an agile scrum team, where software development takes place using modern tools such as C++, CLion, and git. You will be involved in testing functions in simulators and rigs to ensure that the software works when the aircraft is ready for missions.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a civil or university engineer with a background in software development from your studies and previous work.
• Has experience in systems and software work, preferably with a focus on device-level system development or pure software development.
• Is comfortable working with modern tools and programming languages such as C++ (experience with other languages and tools is a plus).
• Is interested in creating efficient and reliable solutions in collaboration with others.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, involve requirements for certain citizenship.
